Choosing a wedding venue in Colombia starts with one question: beach, city or mountains? The country goes from the hot Caribbean coast to Andean highlands where nights are cold, and domestic flights connect the main cities. LOVIA lists more than 4,200 venues and vendors across Colombia. This page groups the venues by region, explains the main types and gives you a checklist for comparing them.
The directory itself is in Spanish. The lists below link to Spanish-language listings, and our team can help you contact venues in English for free.
Cartagena is Colombia’s most popular destination-wedding city, with hotels in the UNESCO-listed walled city, beachfront hotels and venues on the islands. Santa Marta offers beach hotels with the Sierra Nevada behind them. Both are hot all year; the breeze and a late-afternoon ceremony make the difference.

The best venue is the one that fits your guest count, your climate and your guests’ travel. Before you sign, ask:
Ask every venue for an itemized quote with the same date and guest count so you can compare them fairly.
If you also want a legal civil ceremony in Colombia, the notary’s rules apply wherever your venue is, and some notaries ask that one partner lives in the city. Requirements can change; confirm with the notary before booking flights. See the basics in our destination wedding guide.
LOVIA is a free directory: you request quotes from each venue at no cost, and we don’t charge commission or handle payments. If you’d rather not write in Spanish, fill in the form below with your region, date and guest count, and our team will reply and put you in touch with venues. Many vendors work in Spanish; our team can help you reach them.
